Launch of .FREE, .HOT and .SPOT

Amazon Registry has announced the launch of three new gTLDs, .FREE, .HOT and .SPOT as follows:

These are unrestricted TLDs and are launched on a first-come, first-served basis during all phases. WHOIS privacy and proxy will be supported during all TLD launch phases, and premium domain lists will be available.

New Extensions for GlobalBlock

On 28 January 2025 the BSA added new extensions to the GlobalBlock. These included one ccTLD and ccTLD sub-zones, three new gTLDs and nineteen Web 3.0 extensions, and takes the total number of extensions covered by the block to 634.  A representative list of the extensions can be seen on the GlobalBlock website here.
