New ccTLD Update – Cyrillic.eu domains being phased out by EURid

As we informed you previously, the registry operator for .EU domain names in Europe, EURid, will be deleting all Cyrillic script domain names with the Latin script .eu extension on the 31st May 2019. From 1 June 2019, only Cyrillic script domain names with the associated Cyrillic .eu extension (.ею) will remain registered and the combination of Cyrillic script domain name and Latin script .eu extension (e.g. Привет.eu) will not be possible.

EURid will send an email on the matter to all current registrants of both Cyrillic script domains names associated with both the .eu and .ею extensions.
