New gTLD Update – Launch of .COMPARE, .SELECT, .DEALER, and .GAY

Launch of .COMPARE and .SELECT

Registry operator Registry Services LLC has announced the launch of its two new gTLDs .COMPARE and .SELECT as follows:

These gTLDs are unrestricted so there are no eligibility requirements to register .COMPARE or .SELECT domains.

Launch of .DEALER

Registry operator Intercap Registry Inc. has announced the launch of its new gTLD .DEALER as follows:

This is also an unrestricted gTLD and so no eligibility requirements apply.

Launch of .GAY – amendment to timeline

The registry operator for .GAY, Top Level Design, has announced a change to its launch schedule. Sunrise I (TMCH Sunrise) began on 10 February and ran until 31 March. Sunrise II (for holders of trade marks not in the TMCH, see our previous Newsflash here for further information) will still go ahead on 6 April however it will not end on 6 May as planned, but will continue to run until some time in August or September when the Registry now envisages the start of the Early Access Phase.

As with all plans at present, launch dates are subject to last minute changes due to the current situation and we will continue to keep you up to date with developments as they occur
