Com Laude, a global leader in internet domain name management and online brand protection to many of the world’s foremost brands, today announced it is joining forces with PX3 Partners (“PX3”), a London headquartered, pan-European private equity firm. This strategic growth investment also marks Vespa Capital’s exit from the business.
PX3 was selected as the partner of choice given its deep network of international relationships and experience in helping companies scale and internationalise, while also echoing Com Laude’s cultural values and ways of working. The investment from PX3 will accelerate the next phase of Com Laude’s development, enhancing its commercial capabilities while investing in technology and services to benefit Com Laude’s clients.
The founders of Com Laude, Nick Wood and Lorna Gradden, and founders of the previously acquired brand Demys, Penny Hearn and Andrew Lothian, will exit the business, although Nick Wood will enter into a consultancy arrangement with Com Laude.
Glenn Hayward, CEO of Com Laude, remarked: “The past years working in partnership with Vespa Capital have been a pleasure, and we are truly grateful for their support.
