On 8th March, my colleagues at Com Laude and I come together to mark International Women’s Day. On this day, we highlight women’s achievements in our business and throughout our wider industry.
This year’s theme for International Women’s Day is “Accelerate Action” and it’s a call to action that positive change continues to be needed. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee continues to raise awareness about issues including gender inequality, stereotypes, and systemic barriers that women encounter in both their personal and professional lives.
At Com Laude, we’re committed to foster an inclusive mindset and to work towards a gender-equal world.
Last year we hosted webinars and workshops to learn about unconscious biases, rethink the language we use, and to give constructive feedback when challenging people’s behavior.
I’m proud that we have established a women’s mentoring programme, pairing women mentees with mentors across the business to increase visibility and help overcome barriers. This has been such a success that this year we are expanding our mentoring programme across the entire business, regardless of gender.
In 2025, we continue to reinforce our commitment through our all-women staff network which provides a space for women at work to connect and share experiences. We will carry on offering education on important topics, encouraging open conversations, and standing firm on our zero-tolerance policy against bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
Most importantly, we keep celebrating the achievements and success stories of our women colleagues around the industry. We remain committed to promoting positive visibility for women and encouraging everyone to take action and accelerate progress.
Here’s to 2025 and the continued positive change we support!
