The BSA, Brand Safety Alliance, has announced that on 3 October 2024 approximately 30 additional TLD extensions will be added to the GlobalBlock, bringing the number of extensions covered to over 600. The next batch will include a range of gTLDs, ccTLDs and Web 3.0 extensions – the full list will be available shortly. Please note that the fees for the GlobalBlock service will remain the same.
This batch will include the four extensions currently covered by the AdultBlock: .xxx, .porn, .sex and .adult. Please note that the AdultBlock service will remain available as a standalone service.
Existing AdultBlock or AdultBlock+ registrants will be eligible to upgrade to GlobalBlock if they wish. Once we determine which registrants can benefit from converting from AdultBlock to GlobalBlock, we will be in touch.

Registry operator, DotMusic Limited, launched their new gTLD in September 2023 with a schedule of phases for trade mark holders and music community members. In a change to the previously advertised date, .MUSIC is now planned to enter General Availability on 8 October 2024.
Whilst General Availability brings additional categories of eligibility, and applicants can self-attest their compliance with the criteria, .MUSIC remains a restricted TLD reserved for individuals and legal entities who meet one of the following classes:
.MUSIC is a secured namespace and registrants are required to verify their identity with official government identification at the Registry Operator’s Identity Verification Solutions Provider (IVSP) post-registration. Until the identity verification process is completed, the domain name will be put on Registry Server Hold. The use of privacy and proxy services are prohibited.
