Launch of .SBS

Registry operator ShortDot SA has announced the launch of its new unrestricted gTLD, .SBS.

The TLD, which is short for ‘Side by Side’, was assigned from Special Broadcasting Service Corporation to ShortDot SA in February this year. It was previously a Spec 13 – .BRAND TLD and unavailable for general registration.

Privacy and proxy registrations are permitted and a registry lock are also available.

IDNs are not currently available.

 

.TICKETS Removal of Restrictions

The new gTLD .TICKETS was assigned from Accent Media Limited to XYZ.COM LLC on 26 February 2021 and the new registry operator has announced the following updates:

  1. Privacy and proxy registrations are now permitted and new registrations will be automatically approved – the identity verification process during the five-day Add Grace Period has been removed.
  2. The four character minimum registration requirement will be removed from 14 July 2021 (14:00 UTC).

 

Identity Digital DPML Blocking Mechanism: One year registration now available

Operator of the DPML Blocking Mechanism, Identity Digital, has announced that it is now possible to register a DPML or DPML+ for one year only.
