Further to our recent newsflash informing you of the launch of domain name registration directly under the top level .BD, the registry operator Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) has confirmed that domain name registration will be open under General Availability on a first-come, first-served basis from today, 19 January 2026.
Registration will be open to those individuals and companies with a Bangladeshi local presence.
