  • On 1 January 2021, EURid will notify by email all UK registrants, and their registrars that their domain name is no longer compliant with the .EU eligibility criteria and the domain’s status will change to “suspended” until 31 March 2021.
  • On 1 April 2021, EURid will send a final email notification to UK registrants, and their registrars and the domain’s status will change to “withdrawn”.
  • On 1 January 2022, all the .EU domain names with the “withdrawn” status, will be revoked and will become available for registration.

Domain names with the “suspended” status will no longer function or support any service.
