At Com Laude we recognise the importance of supply chain security and trust as all organisations navigate the ever changing and evolving world of cyber criminality. As such, we are delighted to announce that as part of our own security management programme, we have been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Backed by the UK government and overseen by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the certification demonstrates adoption of best practices in information security and effective implementation of controls designed to protect information and systems from threats coming from the internet.
Speaking about the certification Com Laude’s CTO, Gareth Jehu talks about why this certification is important.
“As a corporate domain name registrar who work with some of the world’s largest organisations and brands, we take security seriously and quite rightly, it is a high bar set by our clients. The Cyber Essentials Plus certification requires us to evidence and demonstrate technical competence across a range of security controls which include network boundary protection, secure configuration, access control, malware protection and patch management. Achieving this certification has positively contributed to our own security improvement programme and is a re-enforcement of our commitment to protecting our clients and ourselves in the online world which today confronts us with as many challenges as opportunities.”
Com Laude has earned a Silver Medal in the EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, a prestigious recognition awarded to only the top 15% of companies independently evaluated by EcoVadis over the last 12 months.
