Should you wish to register .nz names with us or transfer .nz names to our management, Registry Operator InternetNZ and the Domain Name Commission, (together referred to as the Registry) impose certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions. You agree and acknowledge the .nz registry policies and rules as set out below and as may be updated from time to time:
You agree to:
- comply with and be bound by the .nz Rules, and that any non-compliance with our terms and conditions or the .nz Rules could result in the applicant’s .nz Domain Name not being registered or being cancelled;
- ensure all information you give us is accurate and complete, and to keep us updated of any changes to any information given to us;
- satisfy yourself that your use of any .nz Domain Name will not infringe any other person’s or entity’s intellectual property rights, and that you are responsible if it does breach such person’s or entity’s legal rights;
- use our services in respect of the .nz Domain Name for lawful purposes only; and
- comply with any order of any Court or authority having jurisdiction regarding any .nz Domain Name registered to you.
You agree and acknowledge that we will:
- comply with the .nz Rules;
- comply with your lawful directions regarding your .nz Domain Name in a timely manner;
- on your request, arrange for correction of any error in the information on the .nz Register about any .nz Domain Name registered to you;
- comply with all applicable laws, including, without limitation, laws in respect of privacy and data protection; and
- inform you that any personal information provided to us will be made available to DNC (and any other relevant parties) on request by DNC and you expressly agrees to this.
