Should you wish to register .mc names with us or transfer .mc names to our management, the Registry Operator, NIC Monaco, imposes certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions. You agree and acknowledge the .mc registry policies and documents as set out below and updated from time to time:

• You agree that NIC Monaco can freeze any .mc domain for a period of thirty (30) days in order to verify eligibility criteria of a .mc domain and that subject to NIC Monaco going through its process and procedures, it has the right in its unlimited and sole discretion to delete/lapse any .mc domain without the registrant being able to oppose such decision or claim for compensation.
• You agree that NIC Monaco cannot be held responsible for erroneous, false, misleading information or any omissions in respect of .mc domains.
• You agree that in the event of non-compliance with these terms, the .mc domain may be deleted without the registrant being able to oppose it or claim to any compensation.

• You agree that the registrant is solely responsible for the use and exploitation of the .mc domain. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NIC Monaco from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and expenses arising out of or relating to, for any reason whatsoever, your domain name registration. This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of your agreement with Com Laude.
• You agree to provide accurate registration information for the registered name, and immediately correct and update the registration information for the registered name during the registration term for the registered name.
• You agree that NIC Monaco reserves the right to refuse any registration request likely to cause confusion with the missions or identity of the Government of Monaco and institutions of the Principality.
• You agree that a .mc domain will be deleted/lapsed by NIC Monaco if it has been obtained:
  • with a view to selling it, transferring in any way whatsoever to the Prince’s Palace, an institution, a public body, or to the holder of an identical or related name on which a right is recognized, and not to exploit it effectively;
  • for the purpose of harming the reputation of a natural or legal person, of an interest legitimate right or a recognized right on this name or on a related name, or that of a product or service assimilated to this name in the mind of the consumer; or
  • for the purpose of taking advantage of the reputation of the holder, a legitimate interest or a right recognized on this name or on a related name, or that of a product or service assimilated to this name, creating confusion in the mind of the consumer.
