Should you wish to register .ec names with us or transfer .ec names to our management,  the Government of Ecuador and the Registry Operator Ecuadordomain

S.A. NIC.EC impose certain conditions. As set out in our Terms and Conditions, by placing an order with us you unconditionally agree to be bound by these conditions:

You acknowledge and agree to comply with the .ec registry policies at Policies – ECUADORDOMAIN S.A. as updated from time to time.

On your request, Com Laude will register the domain name in the domain name registry system administered by the Registry Operator, update the domain name, renew the validity of the domain name, change the domain name registrar, transfer the domain name to another holder or remove the domain name from the domain name register.

You acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You agree to provide accurate registration information for the registered name (including e-mail address confirmed by return e-mail or other method) and immediately correct and update the registration information for the registered name during the registration term for the registered name. False information provided may result in the deletion of the domain name.
• You agree to obtain the consent of any third party whose personal data you have provided as registration data.
• You consent to the Registrar making the Registration Information and Additional Registration Information available to the Registry, and consequently to ICANN as required or permitted by applicable laws. You agree and acknowledge ICANN and Ecuadordomain S.A. NIC.EC, in its capacity as the Registry, may establish guidelines, limits, and/or requirements regarding the amount and type of information the Registrar must make available to the public or private entities, and how such information is made available.
• You acknowledge and agree that NIC.ec may transfer personal data to:
  • ICANN or international organizations that regulate domain governance;
  • Judicial or administrative authorities in Ecuador, when required by law; and
  • Data processors, such as hosting providers, DNS operators, or technical escrow services, acting under contract and appropriate guarantees.
• No international transfers are made by the Registry Operator without a legal basis or valid contractual safeguards.
• By accepting the domain name registration service contract or using the NIC.ec platform, you declare that you have read, understood, and agreed to NIC.ec privacy policy at https://nic.ec/politicas.php and authorise the processing of your personal data under its terms. This is without prejudice to obtaining your informed consent in physical or digital form.
