Should you wish to register .az names with us or transfer .az names to our management, you will need to comply with the requirements of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan who administer the .az ccTLD through their administrative authority IntraNS. You will also need to comply with the terms and conditions of Register Società per Azioni, (“Register”), a third-party registrar who we use to provide domain name services in respect of .az domain names.  Therefore, you will need to comply the following as updated from time to time:

1. Requirements of Government of Republic of Azerbaijan

• Rules governing the registration and use of ‘az’ country code top level domain names and Registration Procedure in Appendix 1 of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan (found at https://whois.az/?page_id=10); and the
• Domain Name Registration Agreement in Appendix 1 of those rules.

These Rules stipulate amongst other things the operational model for administration of domain names, responsibilities and obligations, as well as the form and content of the domain name.

When applying for a .az domain name, you must complete an Application Form and enter into the Domain Name Registration Agreement (referred to in 1(ii) above). You are responsible for the accuracy and relevance of your data stored in the .az Registry. You agree to provide accurate registration information for the registered name (including e-mail address confirmed by return e-mail or other method), your address, bank details and all other information required in the Domain Name Registration Agreement and confirm the accuracy of this information. If any of that information should change or become inaccurate during the registration term, you agree to immediately (and at latest within three days of the change) correct and update it. If you do not notify us of changes in that time, the Registry may suspend maintenance services for your domain name.

When applying for a .az domain name you confirm that the domain name registration does not violate or limit the rights and legitimate interests of third parties, does not pursue illegal purposes and will not be used to violate applicable law.

You agree:

• that your personal data relating to your domain name will be processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan On Personal Data;
• that in order to ensure the viability of the domain and to provide notice of domain names, you entrust us and Register with the placement of personal details in the relevant databases, registries, Internet information resources and information systems in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Personal Data”; and
• to transfer personal data to another registrar, the National Administrator and relevant government agencies, in case they are subject to investigation.

2. Register’s terms.

On your request, Com Laude will engage Register to register the domain name in the domain name registry system administered by IntraNS, update the domain name, renew the validity of the domain name, change the domain name registrar, transfer the domain name to another holder or remove the domain name from the domain name register.

You accept and agree to abide by Register’s contractual documentation prepared in relation to the Register Service we have purchased for you. This documentation is published on the Register Website and includes, but is not limited to:

1. the Service Order (“SO”), containing the specific terms and conditions of the individual Service requested by you (published at https://www.register.it/company/legal/?lang=en );
2. General Terms and Conditions of Service (“GTC”) (published at https://www.register.it/company/legal/condizioni-generali.html?lang=en);
3. Register’s Privacy Policy (published at https://www.register.it/company/legal/informativa-privacy/?lang=en);
4. Personal Data Processing Agreement (published at https://www.register.it/wp-content/uploads/3_2021_09_23_Personal-Data-Processing-Agreement_Register_online_3.pdf);

Please pay particular attention to ensuring proper use of Register’s Services in compliance with the technical and regulatory rules relating to the Services.

As a registrant of your domain name you have the benefits and responsibilities established by ICANN, available https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en.

You agree that you will indemnify and hold harmless Register, Com Laude Group Ltd, any other registrar sub-contracted to provide your domain name, together with their affiliates and subsidiaries, their subcontractors, and their owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, service providers, agents and affiliates against

• any claim for damages that may be made by you or by any third party arising from or related to the services provided by Register in respect of your domain name or your use of such services, including, without limitation, the use, registration, extension, renewal, cancellation and/or transfer thereof and/or breach of any applicable term or condition governing registration; and
• your failure to comply with your obligations assumed and the guarantees provided by acceptance by you of Register’s conditions.

You acknowledge that you shall not enter into any transaction or compromise with respect to such indemnification without the prior written consent of Register or other relevant registrar, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. The foregoing indemnification obligations shall survive the termination or expiration of the Service Order for any reason.

Register will process your personal data to provide their services to you. You consent to Register transferring personal data to IntraNS and/or the Government of Azerbaijan and any other registrar used by Register as required by them for the registration and maintenance of your .az domain names.

In the event of a dispute concerning the use of a domain name, you undertake to cooperate fully and appear before the courts of your domicile and Register’s (or other relevant registrar’s) registered office, as well as before any other competent courts.
